All good programs probably suited to your needs if you're talking about making a banner. |

I used Fireworks CS3. I make Phil like it, and I use it all the time. |

Actually I already had Fireworks 8 but never used it much.  |

Google has a shitload of tutorials for CS3/4.
I recommend you 'upgrade' to CS4. |
